Walking along a rocky shore or gazing upward at tree tops, I discover intimate views of nature that might otherwise go unnoticed. These seemingly ordinary moments—overlooked in our hurried lives—invite viewers to slow down and reconnect with the smaller details of the expansive landscape in a more thought-provoking way.

I paint with acrylics, using saturated colors and deliberate brushstrokes to create depth, contrast, and movement in my landscapes. My work captures the interplay of light, shapes, and negative space, evoking a powerful sense of place through my distinctive approach to everyday scenes.

My artistic journey began in earnest in 2012, after dedicating years to career and family. Though I've always had a passion for creative expression, finding my voice as a painter has deepened my engagement with my surroundings and fueled my desire to simplify the complexity of the natural world. Having called Maine home for over three decades, I draw endless inspiration from its rugged coastlines and dense forests, which feature prominently in my work.

The artistic process continues to challenge and fulfill me—each piece offering an opportunity for growth and reflection. I find my greatest satisfaction when a viewer forms a personal connection with my work, perhaps recognizing their own cherished moment reflected in my artistic interpretation.
